I've been constantly sitting on my ass in front of my computer here at work for long durations of time lately, you know, since I've been generating documents like crazy.
Anyway, I'm in the middle cube of a row of three cubes...I have a window on one side and on the other side, there's another row of cubes. Well, I'm the only one in this group of six cubes that isn't interviewing potential employees, isn't a business manager constantly griping about contracts, or attending Webex telecons.
So, while I have Visio and Excel and Word open, I've also got an active stream from Pandora going just to block out the ambient conversations. I've usually got a few stations that play music from the same genre, but today, I felt like listening to Lil' Jon...since I'll be going to Nyawlins in March, I figured, let's get the dirrty south groove on (I know what you're saying - "nyawlins ain't exactly the ATL, mang!").
Well...so eventually, it starts playing Black Eyed Peas...and I'm like, OK, not exactly in the same genre as Lil' Jon and Chingy and B.G., but OK.
Then, this song comes on.
I had to check out the video.
And finally, I had to figure out what Bebot really meant...because they weren't using it in the same context that I was familiar with.
Let's just put it this way...I have an 'Uncle Bebot', and he's not exactly a pretty woman or a hot chick. Maybe that was his nickname that his brothers and sisters gave him, kind of like calling a big huge mandingo of a guy "tiny".
Well, I think I just found my second favorite taglish song...This is still my favorite.
